Two things:

What exactly is the "brush plating process?" - never did it, so I'm curious as to suggested materials/source and also how toxic is the process?

Seems like useful for rare items - but why the effort for the Campy nuts in question? My guess is that those nuts are available new or clean used for just a few bikes each.
