Subject: [CR]FS: 1973 Hetchins Hellenic Spyder, Complete, unrestored and original.

For sale; My 1973 Hetchins Hellenic Spyder with Magnum Bonum fork, serial number H10492. Purchased from the original owner in 2000, this frame is unrestored, complete and in original condition except for light touch ups performed by Brian Baylis for the original owner, Neil Gonzier. The brake rubbers were disintegrated on my purchase and replaced with later Campag natural rubber hoods, but the left side hood does need replacing as it has torn since application. The frame is in immaculate condition and was shown at Cirque this year. Frame size is 22 & 1/2" CT with a 22"CC top tube. The group is almost completely Camapagnolo Nuovo Record except for a very nice Philwood low flange wheelset, 36H front and rear laced to AVA alloy rims, and a Philwood bottom bracket. The Campag Nuovo record front chainset is 54/42 tooth with a 5speed rear cog. Stem is Cinelli 100mm, & 39mm Cinelli Giro D'Italia bars. Seat tube size is 27.2cm, with rear spacing of 126mm. The seat is a very rare Ideale 90 with alloy rails.

Only 65 to 70 Hellenic were built during a brief period of time between 1966 to the early 1970s, and they are considered highly collectable and rare.

Jpgs of the Hellenic can be seen on both my Wool Jersey album at:

http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/1973-Hellenic-Spyder

And on the Hetchins.org website at:

http://www.hetchins.org/504hellenic-01.htm

I'm asking for $3000.
