There is a photo of Poulidor in Merckx's coffee table photo book, The Fabulous World of Cycling. The Mercier he is on the that photo is all Campy, but the photo is from the mid-70's near the end of Pou-Pou's career. I saw Poulidor in person at the 1974 World's in Montreal in which he finished (what else?) second to Merckx. I seem to recall that that bike was all Campy also, except that I think it may have had the then-new Simplex Retrofriction shift levers.

However, Poulidor had a very long career, so he may have used some Stronglight/Simplex bits early on when he was finishing second to Anquetil.
