When the Craig'slist Colnago photos were posted, the headtube shot didn't show the top tube lug, just the bottom lug and crown. Too bad I'd have liked to see if both lugs had the clover cutout, or just the bottom. Here's a comparison foto of my '72-'73 Colnago w/chromed lugs and crown and clovers cut out of both head lugs:

I'd never seen Colnago panto'ed chainrings of any type let alone like on the Craigslist bike earlier than mid-70's, but thats just me, for a comparison of the chainring (actually drillium!) that was correct for early 70's see:

There's other fotos of this unmolested all original bike in the same folder.

Pantograph history/evolution is interesting to me, as is "neutral discussion"....but I think the paucity of fotos provided in the short-lived Craig's listing made it harder to determine that bikes vintage than the several bits of opinion shared today....I mean so what if the front derailleur was swapped away? The paint is another issue entirely.
