the Matthauser finned brake pad assemblies are great for display bikes. After this much time, I would not use them on a real rider, for fear of failure of the bonding agent between the pad and the holder. I'm on the road, but I think I remember having one naked holder at home, as a result of such a failure at some point.

Literally, these brake pads have holders with fins for cooling and to better dissipate heat. Not my auction, no relation ... yada yada ... but these are very .. um .. cool !!!
