I have been playing with my 1948 Claud Butler Avant Coureur project again. The thing is fitted with a Huret Course Competition derailleur (fig. 8.27 on p. 153 of Berto, 2nd ed.)

The secret of how to make the beast work seems to be that one needs a really close range freewheel block, which I don´t have, of course.

Can anyone help?
