I bought a 1962 Peugeot PX-10 (serial 935104) nearly perfect, original and
complete except for the hubs/skewers.
There is no 1962 catalogue (of course) in the otherwise comprehensive Peugeot Show catalogue collection on the web.
The 1963 one lists a "Simplex Competition" hub (low flange). The 1964 "Cycling" review of the PX-10 on the CR website lists a "Simplex Blocade" hub, also low flange.
Has anyone seen, let alone got, any Simplex hubs of this period and description?
In the interim I suppose I will build up the original old logo Mavic pre-Monthlery rims with Normandy Competition h/f hubs.
