Really? What flux would you use? I've used silver solder to repair gold jewellery using regular Handy Flux and it would be great to be able to silver solder aluminum. I have some low temperature aluminum welding rod I once bought at a trade show where the salesman was using it to weld aluminum beer cans with a propane torch. I tried welding a broken skeg back onto an outboard motor with it, but it snapped off the first time it got stuck in the sand.
