My KMC chain is worn by a half a pin's width in 2 thousand immaculate miles. My Sedisport chain is worn by only a hair in double that. What is KMC making their chains out?... Pot metal?
At $7 a pop, the KMC is still a bargain, and I have nothing to complain about. Maybe the KMC is softer and therefore spares the more valuable chainwheels and cogs. In any event, I'm going with the Sram chains now at $14 per.
