Hm. I feel better about the one I bought awhile back, for a little less than the one on ebay. The one on ebay was still in its wrapper, so more valuable than mine.

Some may laugh, but those water-bottles are VERY rare. Extremely hard to find, and if they were actually used back in the day the screened graphic would be badly worn from use. So to find one in perfect condition is a little like finding a needle in a haystack. I feel fine about the price I paid for mine..

Also note that these particular bottles used the first-gen Gran Criterium graphics. Available only for a short time, unless the bottles remained unchanged after the graphics changed on the frames. Anyone know for sure about that?

In any event, those bottles are next to impossible to find in like-new condition. Given these facts, $200 for the bottle is a bargain, imho.

With regard to Masi seat-post size, I have a somewhat worse-for wear Carlsbad GC with a somewhat mishapen seat-tube, just from use..it wouldn't surprise me that a 27.2 would not fit in a GC that had been well-used..although a swing of .4 mm seems like a lot, it isn't..not if the seat-post clamp area has been abused..
