That frame mightn't functionally be as tall as it looks. Look at the riding position with the bars nearly even with the saddle, with perhaps a little less than the classic "fist" of seatpost showing. I've got a Bartali I ride that looks too large for me, but when the seat is let down in the fashion you commonly see in old photos, it fits me very nicely indeed and gives a BOBish relatively upright position that's good for long rides. If you've got a frame a little large compared what you'd ride on a newer bike and the top tube is reasonable give it a try. I'll admit my smaller Cinelli "feels" better overall, but it feels better than any other bike I've ever owned too.
