Seriously Dave, I'm just in search of the correct history. Your speculations on this bike is no more or less important to me than any of the other players. However, your inconsistency with the year of purchase as well as what happened to your brother's bike presents some issues for me.

I don't recall having said that I believe I have a real-deal Eddy bike built by Ernesto. That was info relayed to Todd Davis from Cecil. Of course I am in search of any truth to that as it's one very cool bike and deserves proper research.

If you really want to be helpful, verify the measurement of your brother's bike... or just say "he rode a bike identical to Eddy's hour bike's somewhat unique geometry".
