Dan, thanks for the post. Good to see you back in the saddle after that nasty spill you had in June. And especially thanks to the Maaslands for their gracious hospitality and hard work. It is always fun to poke around Steven's garage but quite hazardous to one's wallet. It is easy to drop some serious coin. You see, the visit before last, a 1975 De Rosa jumped into my car's back seat and followed me home. I tried to reason with the bike but it spoke only Italian. The only right thing to do was let it live in my basement.

The ride itself was great and the 13-21 gears on the Rauler were matching well with the topography. Fixie friendly. The Covered Bridge Century ride pulled some of the riders that originally committed to Steven's ride but hopefully we'll see them on another future ride. The latest word from rumor control was that Gabriel & Rita Romeu are going to be hosting the next ride in the near future.
