For comparison to:

Interesting to note in comparing the two bikes:

#50 has for the 24mm round blade fork a unique crown compared to other round blade forks that can be attributed to Mario. The crown on #26 is the type I have seen, with 5 examples of the other type.

Note the double tapered stay bridges for the chain ans seat stays, There was a production supplier of bits like those, the name escapes me at the moment, a deatil that could easliy be overlooked. Best images seen on the #50 bike.

Finally, the rear ends of the #50 bike lack the holes that Mario was evolving in form, his Masi track bikes had simple holes about 6mm in diameter just beyond the stay ends, sometimes just the chainstays, other times both. The counterbored holes as seen on #26 are typical of his Confente bikes, but #50 has none, but the overall reworking of the shape is pretty consistant throughout those I have seen.

Thanks Dan for a much better image set than was seen on the most prior Confente on ebay.

Very happy that one is too big for me.
