i got good use out of gommitalia champions i think about 35-40 each .i recently got a pincher flat by squibbing an acorn ofthe edge of a brand new continental sprinter.i was quoted 20 by my local bike shop to repair if possible.back in the day i fixed a few with good results, but time consuming. if you can find leak then you can remove inner membrane than cut threads in small area to expose tube, patch, resew, reglue inner membrane then re glue tire to rim..20 seems fair .the gommittalias have a tan sidewall so look natty on an older bike.hope that helps. already considering switching over to clinchers for everyday use.i have read there is a rim tape called tufo tape to replace gluing tire to rim that would also be helpful for making a permanent tire change on the road side.otherwise you can have a spare thats lightlyglued and dry to mount temporarily in a pinch but i believe you need to reglue and let dry on rim 12-24 hrs,for permanent mounting kevin ruberg howell new jersey USA
