Thanks for the input, Neil. So it looks like it could be consistent with the date inside the saddle frame.
I bought the bike originally to use as a fixed wheel beater. The previous
owner rode it on some hilly club rides with a 75" gear and no brakes, but I
put on a 22t sprocket for a 61" gear as well as the brake. I never intended
to ride it on the track. I like the angles too. It's a very nice bike to
ride and if I ever decided to get a custom road frame built, I would want
this exact same geometry. At the time the closest track was a rough,
overgrown outdoor one about about 30 miles from me in Windham Centre. Now
there is the Forest City Velodrome in London, about the same distance.
