That might be my size too, but I'm not sure if I ride a size M :) Very nice bike - good thing I don't collect English bikes, and there's that 10 bike limit I am trying to stick to.

About the rims, based on the machined sides, I think they are made by Galli. If I'm right, they are the same rims I had on my 1982 Cinelli SC. You can see a close up of the rims here:

Unfortunately my wife informed me that another bike in the stable would be painful. Maybe with a 26.8 seatpost the bike would still fit sideways................ nah.
