Ambrosio changed their name, or at least their brand, to TTT sometime in the late 60's I think. May not have been a clean break, they may have continued a while using the Ambrosio brand after they started using TTT. One item that puzzles me is the Ambrosio bars a list member has been selling from time to time on eBay. Nicely engraved, but definitely look more late 70's/early 80's than 60's. Not only that, but they are 26.4 mm at the stem clamp. I've never seen any other Ambrosio/TTT bars that size. They are nice and I've actually bought several pairs, I just don't know what to make of them.

Ambrosio stopped making stems under their own brand at some point and started to use the Techno Tubi Torino (TTT) name? Or was that Fiamme? And what about ITM, where did they come from? I don't remember anything ITM before the late 80s. Let's put it this way:

What happened to Ambrosio stems (and bars)? What happened to Fiamme stems (and bars)? Both seemed to just disappear long before the rims did (I think Ambrosio might still make rims) Where did TTT and ITM come from? and when?
