Hi: I live in NYC, and have been following this list for a while. I really don't have a lot of spare time because my wife recently gave birth to twins. I wanted to tell you guys that I have the original race form and opening ceremony itinerary for the opening of the Kissena Velodrome, which some of you might know as the Sigfried Stern Velodrome. Sigfried happened to have been my great uncle. I never knew him, but luckily someone in the family passed on the documents to me, knowing I was a cyclist. It even has the music played at the ceremony. My father is a cyclist and remembers when he grew up in NYC and was a member of CRC. He said " I was the only English speaking guy in the club." Don't know if it is true or not, but I think I have his old embroidered CRC Jersey somewhere. It would be nice to hook up for a ride one day with some of you guys. My regular ride is a KOF Colnago Masterlight circa 1990. I also own and ride a Early 80s Atala with Super Record and my newest ride which is a 1969 Raleigh Professional. Bike size is small 52ish. Anyone seeing any great bikes in my size at good prices get in touch. P.S. where do the rest of the NYC guys store their rides. Running out of space already.
