Fellow Listers,
For those that have bid or are planning to bid on the late-'70's Cinelli on ebay, I've seen the bicycle and thought you should know the following:
- The seller told me they are selling it for a friend. The person I spoke to is not at all knowledgeable about bicycles; - I advised her to add some details to her listing, which she did; however, the following were omitted: a) The chrome on the the lugs is in poor condition, even for those that like patina; b) Paint on the top tube is quite worn; c) I did not measure the frame, but I am doubtful of her measurements. d) Seller told me she plans to have UPS pack the bicycle. I cautioned her about the risks poor packing.
