I have what I beleive to be a Trek 750 from 1981(serial # 7027) that I'd like to get painted. The brochure from the vintage trek site talks about special Imron paint etc that these bikes were painted with . Does anyone still use this paint and the methods talked about in the brochure? Also I am running Suntour Superebe Pro components(are these on-topic?) and if so are they time period correct? The brochure lists Dura Ace EX components , but I think some of the 750's were sold as frames. Thanks, Marc Frazer Reisterstown, Md
