Hi Norris not sure if this particular maker did but I am sure many did just as small car/ motorcycle makers did ...an excellent finish can easily be achieved if A. you are very patient,methodical,clinically clean and B. if your the sort of chap who made Airfix kits WITHOUT getting glue all over...I have done frames in this way in the past with very good results too many people though look for perfection machines NEVER came that way! the colour sounds great I kinda like brown also sadly admit to liking the Carlton coffee/champagne colour scheme of the 60's-70's.
