I used to work with Jim Brittain at WheelSport Bicycles in Spokane in the late 1970s. He moved to one of the other locations called Valley WheelSport where he mananged the shop and then acquired ownership. He later began to build frames that were acceped in the local bicycling community in high regard. As far as I know they did not gain acceptance outside the community as Jim had no intention of marketing them further. Unfortunatly upon the advice of an attorney he quit building them from the fear of liability....not that any frame failed. It is just the inherant nature of attorneys to kill the creativity in people. Bruce
