The hot tip is that you find some crashed Campagnolo SL or SR pedals for next to no dollars and you cut off the damaged end of the quill and profile the edges to match a Campagnolo track pedal cage. That way you are taking some pedals nobody wants anymore and turning them into something usable... actually kind of desirable.
