Thought I'd give Sheldon Brown the opportunity to plug his wares in this venue by answering a couple questions On List - re: new rims for mid-70s French bike.
Does the SunRims CR-18 650B model have the same polished alloy finish and profile as their other sizes of that same model? Any idea if they ever plan to release a 40 hole model for this highly tandem-suitable wheel size?
How 'bout the Rigida Sphynx? What is that finish like? Are they a fairly flat/low profile... dare I hope for something like old Super Champion rims? Single or double wall construction?
