I had a bicycle called a Labonne around 1970. It was steel, but I don't remember much about the componentry. It was certainly a very low priced bike compared to many of that era that are lusted after by CR list members. Mine was a robin's egg blue color with white panels. At the store where I bought it, there was an identical bike called Eurobike. Same frame and components. It looked like badge engineering to me. If anyone can guide me to any resources on the history of these brands, I would appreciate it.
