It's a nice museum with lots of stuff from the highwheel era, which I like. But if I remember correctly there is not a huge amount of the new stuff you guys like! Lots of Schwinn stuff too. There are Paramounts, I'll have to admit I wasan't paying much attention to the classic lightweight stuff as I really didn't know what I was looing at in that era when I was there last year. The bulk of the collection is from the Schwinn Museum in Chicago. Annette who runs the place is a great lady and I'm sure would be very agreeable to you guys showing up too. Not much else to see in New Bremen Ohio unless you also like fork trucks!

Maybe it's time to revisit the idea of a CR gathering in this part of the county. How many of us are within driving distance of, say, the Bicycle Museum of America in New Bremen, Ohio? There are plenty of flat & quiet country roads near there, the museum is open from noon until 2:00 on Saturdays, and there's still a few weeks of descent riding weather ahead. We could tour the museum, do a vintage ride, then find a restaurant at nearby St. Mary's for dinner.
