While attempting to install a Suntour GT rear derail on a Schw Sports Tourer, I noticed the ST's DO hanger doesn't have a stop step. Without this the derailleur swings all the way up and forward. Can I not use this derailleur or do I need an accessory or adapter? One of the original derail for this model is the Campy GT.
