Jeff,

It's not a '79, I don't think. My '79 doesn't have either the engraved seat stay caps or an all chrome fork. I'm guessing early '80s. Also the '79s usually sported low flange hubs laced to Nisi Sludi rims. But then the seller says this was built up later.
