Can the 5 and 6 speed version of these freewheels be used with "classic era" chains like Regina or the NOS Wippermans you have for sale on the Harris Web site? Or must these freewheels be used with modern chains intended for indexed shifting systems?
I'm asking because, if possible, I'd like to use one of the new
IRD pieces with a Campagnolo NR derailleur, and - when used
with something like a 13-28 freewheel - they typically require
a stiffer chain such as an old Regina.
