I built an RB-1 and a Bob Jackson tourer for a friend. The Jackson had a longer wheelbase and more relaxed head angle yet apparently felt squirrely on descents. After consulting a former bike designer/product manager, we concluded, and Ed Litton confirmed that there was too much trail in the Jackson fork (I think I've got that right...one too many Cabernets). The Jackson had more of a curve in the tips of the fork. Ed straightened them and the bike subsequently rode around the Czech Republic for a week. So did the rider.
