IIRC, Raleigh also made bikes for a while in Oklahoma, mostly fairly low end I think, nothing better than the Grand Prix.

IIRC They started production in the mid '70's in Quebec to supply bikes for the North American market. The bikes were pretty much identical to Nottingham or Netherlands production, but with BSC threading. Raleigh Canada still exists making off topic bikes mostly for a captive Canadian audience. http://www.raleigh-canada.ca/ I won't get further into the politics involved.
