Why not just get rid of those caged bearings altogether and use loose balls? That is the best approach from a mechanical function point of view anyway.

Hi all, I just got one in the mail, it , I expect them to be correct, but when sitting them together they seem that they maybe the wrong size, can anyone help with what size they should be. The top section seems fine, but the bottom is not, I suspect that the crown race is not the right one, does anyone out there have some sizes so that I can compare, and any ideas as to a simple fix?...regards wayne davidson Invers NZ......
