although i am not a big collector as many here are, i do love my 2 old treks. neither are 100% original, as many parts are obsolete, and if i did manage to find them, my poor old back (i'm 57) would not enjoy the ride.Rivendell has made it possible for me to ride again ,mainly due to the taller stems. the frame is the heart and soul of the bike.
