The first year I went to the Oregon District Championship Road Race was 1975. I was only 15 at the time and had to get a ride with another racer I knew since I couldn't drive myself (legally:-)). He was rather out of shape but was determined to finish the 100 mile Senior Mens race. He finished probably 1-1 1/2 hours after everyone else. His car was nearly the only vehicle left in the parking lot. When he finally arrived, he was riding with another gentleman with the most mint orange Paramount I'd ever seen. It was a 1970 according to the owner, with perfect white bar tape. He rode it a fair amount in dry weather he said. It could have been taken off the showroom floor. I've never forgotten how clean that bike was. Oregon isn't So. Cal. In terms of weather by any means.

P.S. That's an extremely nice fine in the Falcon. I remember seeing some at the track in that era but never paid great attention to parts etc.

They're nearly all mint and they're all beautiful. Obviously the Falcon is off the market and the Orange Paramount was bought by a friend of mine, but as far as I know the rest are still avaliable (with the exception of the Colnago and the Masi Pista, he's keeping those I think). The seller is in South Wisconsin so if anyone's interested contact me and I'll forward you the sellers address.
