I have a stunning and gorgeous Peter Johnson frameset for sale. Seat tube is 62 cm ctt, top tube is 58.5 ctc. Chainstays are 43 cm ctc, front center is 59 cm, this works out to a wheel base of 39 3/4" ctc (sorry, in my head certain measurements are metric, others are inches). Stand over height is 33 5/8", bb height 10 1/4 - 10 3/8".

There is a spade cut out in the top of a sculpted seat lug and typical PJ seat stay attachment. Lugs are Prugnat, the bb shell has been sculpted into a Nervexy style that makes a Hetchins look like apprentice work. No knock on Hetchins, this is just WAY better. Campy long drop outs, semi sloping fork crown. Braze-ons consist of: downtube shift levers, 2 water bottles, chainstay stop, under bb cabling, custom tt brake cable guides. Requires regular nutted, standard (long) reach brakes. Did I mention the new flawless silver paint job in almost the exact original color?

This frame was built circa 1974 for Matt Christy, a local up-and-coming racer at the time. You have to put up with Matt's ssn as the serial number. It doesn't show until you turn the bike over. It's one of the best and easiest "track standing" bikes I've ever owned. If you need to know a little more about Peter, go to: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/USA/Peter_Johnson.htm

Back then, Peter didn't have decals. Depending on his mood, you may or may not be able to get him to give you a set. If you tell him you want decals because everyone says "nice Ritchie" when they see the bike (it'll happen) it may help.

Frame and fork only, $1,000.00. If you want to commission a frame, it will be 3 to 4 times that. These don't come up for sale that often, this size is mildly rare. CR gets a chance before eBay. If you know of anyone not on the list who should be interested, please let them know. I can email pictures to anyone seriously interested. If I get some help, I'll post pictures on Wool Jersey.

Please reply off list.
