I will have to apologise as I am borrowing our hotels computer to send this short message.
We have been in Gaiole since Wednesday PM and we have gotten in one ride pre LEROICA.
Those of you who know me know I have a poor idea of direction and true to form I led us out of town and up a long climb that ended about 12 kilometers later(we probably were on the only road in 100 miles that was capable of that)
But this being Italy there was a very nice restaurant there so we were able to recuperate over a nice lunch with wine and returned to town after enjoying a very nice downhill both paved and unpaved(white road)
Today we went to the bike exposition and swap (1964 MASI special for 800E anyone?)
picked up our race packets and currently are watching some entertainment in the town square.
Tonight is the big dinner and I expect to enjoy a great meal with the locals and also an international contingent of CR members (how about a lurker from Chechnia?)
Anyway I will try to do a longer post with pictures (150 so far) when I am able.
