Hello Aldo, Looks to me that they have just passed a feeding station with their bonk bags on. Could it be he is looking for a team mate who might have slowed to have his musette passed up? Bartolemo Aimo competed in three Tour de France's 1924/25/26 and he won two stages. The first Tour he rode was in 1924 in Legnano colours and finished overall fourth. His two stage wins were in 1925 Stage 13 Nice-Briancon when riding for Alcyon and 1926 Stage 14 coincidentally Nice-Briancon again riding for Alcyon. In 25 and 26 he finished third overall. Robert Jacquinot competed in seven consequetive Tour de France's from 1919 to 1925 and had four stage victories. His stage wins were in 1922 on Stage 1 Paris-LeHavre and Stage 3 Cherbourg-Brest and again the following year 1923 Stage 1 again Paris-LeHavre and Stage 5 Les Sables-d'Olonne-Bayonne. If you want to see a full list of any riders placings this is a great website: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/veloarchive/riders/a.htm Also if you want a great Tour de France book for your bookshelf you can't better Les Stars Du Tour De France by Jean Boully published by Bordas. Sure one of the many CR members who regularly visit France would grab you a copy whilst there. Can I say how much I enjoy your Pic of the Day and thanks. I am really interested in the halcyon days of classic Continental, American and British cycling between 1919-1939. Best wishes Joe and thanks. Croeso Cymru Joe King Nr. Maenaddwyn Ynys Mon Wales
