On the topic of B-17s: I have an older model called "select" (all lower case) that I've never seen the likes of elsewhere. It appears pretty much like a B-17 special model in that it has steel black-painted rails, no bag loops, and the wide copper rivets as on the Pro...but this one's black. 3 holes on top, tag on the back has worn away any printing, but the cantle (?) is stamped "made in England". This one seems to have a much more rounded top profile compared to my other B-17, and the roundedness continues through the nose, too. Frankly, I didn't like the shape and removed it from the Holdsworth I had it on...anybody heard of this model?
