Could this be a corruption of Italo BERIGLIANO, who had a shop in London and promoted the Coppi meeting at Herne Hill in the 50's. Suffered a financial loss over this and departed the bike game. Italo returned in the 70's as "Saba" importing Italian specialities, frames under the SABA name and sponsoring among others Ian Hallam. Italo is sadly no longer with us. The firms original name was Ceeway which Norman Evans took over on the demise of Italo, and now of course is a major supplier of Tools & Frame components world wide.
