Hello Paul, I think you will find that both Ken Rogers and Fred Higgins (same axles) made one wheel drive axles of differing widths. I think it will be easy to tell if you have a tandem trike axle among them as they are heavier duty and take a larger hex fitting hub well at least mine do. I can't get a wheel with a solo hub on my tandem trike axle or vice versa. Best wishes Mick.
> I'm looking at my spare axles for my Ken Rogers
\r?\n> today and find that I have
\r?\n> two different sizes. The trike has an 11" idler
\r?\n> axle (right side) and a 16
\r?\n> 1/2" drive axle. Some of my spares measure 10 1/2"
\r?\n> for the idler axle and 15
\r?\n> 5/8" for the drive axle. I do have a 16" spare but
\r?\n> no 11" spare.
\r?\n> Is the longer axle meant for a tandem trike? If
\r?\n> so then my solo trike
\r?\n> must have been built with tandem rear axles.
