Hi all,

I have two and a half La Prealpina bike racks for your vintage bike and car that I'm finally able to let go. I have a roof rack for two bikes, fits rain gutters, white. I think it only has one of the little screw knobs that secures the rear wheel onto its tray, and I've always used toe straps anyway, so never bothered to find a replacement. I also have a La Prealpina trunk-mount that secures to the side edges of your trunk lid with rubber feet and holds the bike by the fork and a cradle under the bottom bracket, with rear wheel sort of hanging off the back. It's my favorite all time rack because it holds the bike securely without marring the top tube like other rear racks, yet still allows you to drive in and out of your garage safely with the bikes loaded. And it doesn't interfere with your sunroof or convertible! Also have parts to build nearly another complete trunk rack. If any of you folks are interested, I'll take some photos and send em along. I'm thinking something like $200 for the whole shooting match, we can haggle from there. I last used these on an old BMW 2002 and Triumph TR6 probably ten years ago and they've been hanging in my garage since. There may be bits of surface rust or bug stains here and there, but they work and they look great with your classic bike on your classic car.
