Hi all.

Just picked up a NOS pair of 3ttt Pista bars on the'bay:

Since many road/criterium style bars are often given a description of PISTA or TRACK I asked the seller if these were in fact the track- specific model (sometimes it's a little hard to tell in the photos) offered by 3ttt. I also asked if there was a 'Pista' or a 'Gimonde' stamped into either end. Here's what he replied with:

"No pista, no Gimonde. This is much deeper in the drops than a Criterium style bar. Narrow like a track bar as well. I ordered these with the stem I have posted quite a few years back, but never used them. The 3TTT catalogue code for this bar was CCP at that time. The only other track bar available then was the Stayer, model code CSTY."

So does anyone know what the difference was between what he calls the CCP and the Stayer CSTY?

I already have one set of these bars with a less shiny finish, could this be the difference? Or is it simply another width?

I've checked the 3ttt catalog on Mark Bulgier's site but only see one model.

Thanks
