Well... it was my experience with Lyotard pedals that lead me to believe that all the old French pedals were threaded to the same specification. Only the markings on the box seemed to differ.

This even includes a very early pair of Look pedals that's still in a box somewhere in my cellar. On one of brother Wayne Bingham's Wahington DC area CR rides, someone asked me if there were French threaded Look pedals. (Apparently my posts have deceived some people into believing I'm a real experct on French bicycles.) Anyway, my reply was that, at least for the earliest Look pedals - which might just be on-topic - the answer was "yes and no."

Anyway, as Harvey frequently points out, your mileage might vary. (And that's most especially the case with Berthet pedals.)
