Frame description is of an authentic Ilkeston Team frame. Tubing is Metric TT 26 mm, all others 28mm as opposed to TT25.4 and other tubes 28.6 for Inperial tubing. Seat post should be 26.8. Grooves in the BB were cut on a milling machine and a short length of teflon tube was inserted into the grooves for smooth passage for the cables, the teflon tubing can be stripped out of the interior of good quality brake cabling outer. The frame number is around 1980 and the size is 54cm as you rightly guessed. Mike Mullett (Ilkeston Workshop Manager 1978/1982) Reading UK But off to Boston on Monday to see New England in the Fall
