Subject: [CR]Rauler closes! 55 cm bike for sale!

The new owners who took over the Rauler shop from teh Garza family have definitively closed shop last month, unfortunately not being able to make a finanacial go of it. Before the shop closed, I was however able to get one last vintage Rauler bike from them. Given that they had always treated me very fairly and that I had been told that the frame was my size, I purchased it sight unseen. I have now found out that the bike is unfortunately too small for me. I have therefore decided to sell it onwards and would like to offer it to the CR list. The bike is still sitting at a friend's place in Italy. He will pack the bike in for me and it should be ready to be shipped in about one week.

Photos of the bike can be seen here: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/maasland/For_Sale_Items/Right+Side+Vi ew.jpg.html

keep clicking on next until you reach the last photo. (you can also enlarge a number of the photos to see more detail).

The early 80's bike is in reasonable good overall shape. As on virtually all Rauler bikes, the decals are beginning to dry out and flake off. Unfortunately they did not clearcoat the decals. There are also a few minor paint chips that should be visible in the photos. The bike has a Super Record reduced gruppo fitted, with Rauler pantographed stem and seatpost.

As the many CR list Rauler owners will attest, along with neat finish details to the frames, these bikes tend to be great riders too. I would like $1100 for the bike.
