OK, I finally went and developed an elegant attachment solution for converting the already classy leather'n'canvas OYB Lunchbox into the OYB "International Model Perfection" Pannier. (I just applied standard pannier attachment technology via the hardware store.) (Can anyone tell me where I got the name?)

I daresay you'll be pleased if you check it out...

(OK, I may be rushing things a bit. The attachment rig shown hasn't been perfected. It functions perfectly, however. But it has surfaces that need filing, plus a couple parts changes. It will have a longer shockcord and a shorter, more official lower-rack hook. It'll have rounded upper-rack hooks. All metal surfaces will be filed round and smooth. I'll match the shockcord green better to the canvas if at all possible.)

The attachments are removable to convert an OYB IMP-Pannier back into an OYB Lunchbox if so desired. However, if you prefer I can use rivets to make it a permanent pannier.

If I get 20 names on a list of those desiring this pannier, I'll go forward with the project and build up 25 panniers and take it from there.

$44 each.

Because that's how old I am.

This includes postage in the US. (Non-US customers pay extra postage beyond a $5 subsidy.)
