So when us polish fetishists shine up the used post we got at the flea market it may become all but impossible to tell? I'm going out on a limb and speculate that the inside diameter difference may not apply all the time, to all sizes either. btw: Did all posts start from the same blank? i.e. a 27.4 has a little cut from diameter while a 26.0 has a lot more cut off?
