Folks: I have been looking at a small pile of Campagnolo spindles that have a range of pitting on the bearing surfaces. This ranges from a couple of pits to cobblestone ring on the spindle. I know ther would be slight lateral dimentional changes, but would there be any other problems and is this feisable. i have a gunsmith/machinist friend that I think I can sweet-talk into lighting up his lathe for me.
