Funny - from the photos, it appears to be a very nicely made seat. If some French bike I worked on in the past had one of these, I was simply oblivious to it. Also I'm usually skeptical of products with names like "The Best" (which is what Le Meilleur means.)

Yet a Japanese bidder is willing to pay at least 100 euros for it, and those guys often more familiar with certain French bits than the anyone on the CR list. (Outside of a few exceptionally well versed individuals, of course.)

I suppose that's a very long winded way of saying "I don't know."
